Ashley called Naomi again to make Luna Petticoat

Musician Ashley Wilkes, from
Greenwich Village,
New York, performs jazz and
Bossa Nova standards
with a little blues, swing,
and pop added for variety.
A veteran artist, Wilkes has
been performing for more than
two decades, opening for such
musical greats as
Pete Seeger, The Coasters,
The Crests, and Herman's Hermits.
"Ashley Wilkes is out to remind
the world that great music
exists through great lyrics and
uptempo sounds of romance,"
writes an entertainment reviewer
in The Music Paper.
The singer has performed
at cabarets, lounges and clubs
in NYC, as well as resorts
in the Catskills, B&B's in NJ & VT.
Wilkes has performed for audiences
from Puerto Rico, the Caribbean,
Costa Rica, Honduras and Mexico.
With an expansive repertoire Wilkes
entertains a variety of audiences
and sings in Spanish, French,
Italian and Portuguese.
Recently Ashley began playing piano
and continues to add more piano to
the repertoire. The NYC based artist
performs regularly in NYC rooms and
spends most winters performing on
cruise ships that travel to
the Caribbean, South and Central
America and Mexico.

Musician Naomi Watanabe,
from East Village, New York,
has reunited with Wilkes after
her longing years of creating
her original sound adding spicy
rythms into standards.
An unique downtown act,
Watanabe has been performing
her originals with her trio
"Piquo" in such NYC well-known
venues as The Living Room,
Sin-e,CBGB, and Side Walk Cafe.
"A unique sound from this NYC-
based Japanese combo. Seeing
them live is a delight, with
the sight of Naomi fronting,
on vocals at her stand-up drum
kit." writes Harris Radio.com.
This international artist has
performed at Off Broadway theatres,
comedy clubs and private parties
in NYC, as well as she plays
drums around with NY and NJ
rock,pop and punk bands.
Watanabe has just performed
her first solo show called
"fill up a hole in progress".
With her Japanese cultural
background, Watanabe is also
involved with a SAMURAI sword
fighting troop as a live sound-
effect artist has performed at
schools and local museums.
Recently Watanabe began learning
harmonica and will be pursuing her
new field in music. Her show dates
